Cancel or Reschedule a Coaching Session (+Sayge Session Cancellation Policy)

Sayge Session Cancellation Policy:

To protect our coaches’ time, we ask that you give more than 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Canceling or rescheduling within 24 hours hours will cause a forfeit; you will lose that session as we pay your coach for their time.

    • Special Circumstances: Emergencies happen, and if you have an emergency and need to cancel within the 24 hours of your scheduled session, please let your coach know. 
    • Session Cadence: The Sayge model is to utilize 2 sessions a month with your coach, typically bi-weekly sessions. Please stick to this cadence so that you don’t fall behind! If you do have to reschedule, always aim to complete 2 sessions in a month. A minimum of 1 session per month is required to continue to be eligible to receive coaching.
    • Hot Tip: Schedule all of your sessions with your coach during your first session. This way you won’t have to think about scheduling your next session, it will already be on your calendar!

Cancelling / Rescheduling Sessions

If you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session, there are a few ways you can do so:

  • If your coach uses a scheduling link, there should be an event on your calendar for your upcoming session that includes an option to cancel or reschedule. Use that link to cancel and/or reschedule your session (and include a quick note so your coach knows why you're canceling/rescheduling if you can).
  • If you've already scheduled all of your sessions on a recurring basis with your coach, reach out directly to your coach via email to let them know you need to cancel and reschedule. You can find your coach's contact information in your participant portal if you don't already have it handy. You can offer future times to meet that you know will work for you, or your coach will reply with times to reschedule.
  • If you schedule sessions via email with your coach, send your coach an email to let them know you need to cancel and reschedule. You can offer future times to meet that you know will work for you, or your coach will reply with times to reschedule.
