Discontinue Coaching for Inactive Participants
Sometimes participants may find it difficult to make time for their personal growth, including their coaching sessions. Before discontinuing coaching for one of your participants, be sure to have a conversation with both them and their manager to see if there is a way to provide them the roughly 2 hours necessary per–month to continue coaching. If you find that a participant isn't connecting with their coach, encourage them to reach out to support@hellosayge.com to request advice and/or a rematch with another coach.
If a coaching participant has been unresponsive without a coaching session for over a month and you find that now isn't the right time for them to receive coaching, discontinuing them from your program is usually the best option.
Discontinued participants' remaining sessions will be added back to your available session total so that you can distribute them to other participants. Discontinued participants will also still appear in your Participants tab to be considered for future coaching engagements.
Follow these steps to discontinue coaching for a participant:
- Navigate to the Participants tab of your dashboard via the button on the left side of the page
- Select the three vertical black dots to the right of the participant you need to discontinue
- Select Discontinue from the appearing options
- Select a reason for their discontinuation from the drop-down menu, or select Other to provide your own reason, then select the Discontinue button to complete the process
- A confirmation will appear on the page when the process is complete
